Helfer Society is a professional organization dedicated to the field of child abuse pediatrics. Within the Helfer Society, the Human Trafficking Subcommittee is a subgroup of experts focusing on the human trafficking of children. The goal of these recordings is to provide foundational principles shared by those who have extensive experience working with this population in the medical field. One of the recordings features an individual with lived experiences, having been exploited in her youth. The second recording compiles insights from various experts who have lived experiences via their careers in assisting this population within the healthcare sector.
