Annual NCA Service Statistics provide critical data about the magnitude and nature of the work of the Children’s Advocacy Center field nationally. NCA uses information about the number of children served, the types of services they received and about abuse and offender information to educate the public about the scope of CACs’ work, to track trends over time in the nature and magnitude of services need, to respond to Congressional inquiries, and to meet Department of Justice funding requirements.
All Accredited, Associate/Developing and Satellite Members are required to submit a center/agency statistical report (NCA Report) to NCA annually to comply with membership requirements and to remain in good standing. Annual statistics submission is a prerequisite to being an NCA member in good standing, and to applying for grants through NCA. New member CACs whose membership does not yet span a whole calendar year are not required to submit until the following year. Statistics are submitted in mid-January of each year in two batches: one submission for January-June service numbers from the previous year, and one for July-December of the previous year. Both “batches” are submitted at the same time, in January.
This page contains submission instructions, a list of required data and data definitions, and other technical assistance materials to support CACs to meet their annual statistics submission requirement.
