Then, NCA's Development team joins for the content you really want: ways to engage your supporters to donate through your prevention efforts.

Blake Warenik serves as Director of Communications at National Children's Alliance, leading the branding, public awareness, and media relations efforts for NCA and the Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) movement. He is the creator of the #ItsYourBusiness campaign and serves as a national spokesperson for the organization and for CACs.

Annika Norris
Communications Coordinator

Annika Norris is the Communications Coordinator at NCA. She joined NCA in 2024, previously having worked in communications roles at several nonprofits. She has diverse experience in content creation, social media, public relations, and marketing.

Laura Turner
Director of Development & Strategic Initiatives
National Children's Alliance
Laura Turner, CFRE is the Director of Development and Strategic Initiatives for the National Children’s Alliance (NCA). In this role, she leads the organization’s fundraising strategy and oversees the development team, ensuring efforts are aligned with NCA’s mission to support children affected by abuse. With a strong background in philanthropy, marketing, and community development, Laura is passionate about helping donors see the meaningful impact their contributions have on vulnerable children’s lives.
Before joining NCA in 2024, Laura served as Development Director for the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation, where she oversaw Operations and Community Development, refining her skills in fundraising strategy, community engagement, and leadership. She also holds leadership roles within the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), currently serving as VP of Communications for the Greater Atlanta Chapter and as a member of the AFP Global Education Committee.

Woori Song
Development Coordinator
National Children's Alliance
Woori Song, LMSW was a forensic interviewer, family advocate, and therapist before joining National Children's Alliance as the development coordinator. Woori runs 3 peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns each year and finds much of her success in collaborating with NCA's communications team and utilizing their strategic messaging to appeal to new and returning donors.

Adam Varahachaikol
Digital Communications Manager
National Children's Alliance
Adam Varahachaikol is NCA's Digital Communication Manager, focusing on social media, digital advertising, SEO, video production, and content creation. He joined NCA in 2021 with more than 15 years of marketing and communications experience, having served as an on-air broadcast journalist, news producer/assignment editor, public information officer, advertising account executive, and a corporate social media manager.
While at NCA, he built and implemented a modern, successful, and diverse social media and digital advertising strategies for the organization's various campaigns, including our podcast, One in Ten. He also loves to help you improve your skills or talk through your digital communications strategy. So, feel free to reach out to him anytime to chat!
