As criminal investigations are conducted, it is paramount MDT professionals take into consideration how geography, resources, and culture impact case outcomes. During this training, federal partners with the FBI Victim Services Division and the Bureau of Indian Affairs Victim Assistance Program will address unique cultural considerations MDTs should be aware of when working within tribal communities. We will also address how relationships, communication, and planning can improve a victim's participation and experience with the forensic interview process. Opportunity for Q&A will follow the presentation.
