In order to enhance collaboration between Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) and military partners, each must have a foundational understanding of the other’s responses to suspected child abuse. This webinar provides a foundational introduction to CACs for military personnel involved in child abuse investigation, intervention, and treatment. Participants will learn about the CAC model and history, CAC service array, NCA accreditation standards and membership types, NCA’s initiative to enhance CAC-military partnerships, and resources to support military collaboration with CACs. Opportunity for Q&A will be available during the live webinar.
CACs, Please Note: Military partners must have an NCA Engage account to access this webinar. You can invite military-affiliated MDT members to join NCA Engage by providing them with the CAC’s organization ID and referring them to the Getting Started page where they can complete a new user registration form. If you need assistance retrieving your organization ID, please contact membership@nca-online.org. If military partners need support with joining NCA Engage, please refer them to hprovencher@nca-online.org.
