Seeing Beyond The Picture: Advocating For The Victim Of Child Sexual Abuse Images Training


This training explains the world of Internet crimes against children, primarily focusing on child sexual abuse images, and the crucial role victim/family advocates play in aiding victims and families in these crimes. Participants will learn definitions of terminology surrounding the production, distribution, and consumption of child sexual abuse images, how these images impact the victim and the caregiver of the victim, how to assist the victim through the CAC process, the legal rights of the victim, and strategies for how to best support the victim and their caregiver.
