OMS data is a valuable resource for assessing a center’s strengths and possible growth areas, and for documenting the impact of its work. Read this handout to learn more.
Created to accompany the Healing, Justice, and Trust 2024 Report, this handout provides CAC staff with examples to maximize data.
The following easy-to-use data templates for OMS data can help CACs tell their stories through eye-catching statistics. These templates have pre-populated graphics and formatting; CACs can make a copy of each template, and then simply cut and paste their own data and information into customizable fields. You can also change the elements’ colors to match their CAC’s branding.
These graphics can be used to connect with funders, parents, advocates, policymakers, and other audiences by showing compelling data in an accessible and attractive way. You can access the CAC, MDT, and Mental Health Survey templates on Canva.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Centers must have a Canva Pro account to make full use of these templates - Canva Pro is free for nonprofits. A video about how to access, make a copy of, and customize the templates for your own center is below -- please watch the video before using the templates.
Once in Canva, to customize each template, you will first need to "make a copy." CACs will not be able to access or edit the original templates linked to this page.
Please do not request access to the template. Instead, follow the link in the top left of your Canva editor window: File > Make a Copy. From there, that template is yours to customize.
If you need any assistance with using the templates, please reach out to omscoordinator@nca-online.org.
