Awards for Expanding Access to Children’s Advocacy Centers’ Resources and Services for Victims of Child Sexual Abuse Materials and Child Sex Trafficking
This grant category aims to help CACs provide services to victims of child abuse images and trafficking, and to train MDT members on providing services to these children.

**Returning Applicants: Applicants will need to ensure that new objectives/activities are the focus of the application. The scope of your project should naturally evolve compared to past projects.


DTVF Available Award Type
CAC Trainings and Provision of Services to Victims of Child Sexual Abuse Materials and Child Sex Trafficking
Maximum Award Amount: $75,000
Goals:
To support the development, expansion, or enhancement of the full array of CAC services to victims of child sexual abuse materials (CSAM), including those victims of CSAM who are also victims of child sex trafficking.
To facilitate the development of written protocols/guidelines, policies and procedures for a coordinated CAC/MDT response specific to CSAM and child sex trafficking cases.
To provide emergency support services (clothing, medical care, mental health services, and transportation) and/or temporary housing resources* for victims of CSAM including those victims of CSAM who are also victims of child sex trafficking.
To develop CAC competencies in service provision to victims of CSAM and/or child sex trafficking by focusing on one or more of the following trainings**:
- Specialized Forensic Interview (FI) training.
- Screening and identification
- Evidence-based interventions for Mental Health clinicians.
- MDT response and the provision of services, including cases of youth-produced sexual images.
- Providing a coordinated response for local community organizations and groups

This on-demand webinar can provide CAC staff with innovative and allowable examples for how CACs can utilize NCA grant funds for projects related to the new optional Standard 11: Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC). The newly revised standards went into effect on January 1, 2023, and there are additional training and practice requirements in which NCA funds can be used to help CACs meet.
