Are You a State Chapter?

Can we apply for a 2027 grant in a new category if we received a grant in 2026? +

Yes, if you were a 2026 grantee, you can apply to a new category in 2027. Be sure to review our Grant Eligibility Chart HERE. Each CACs eligibility, and the number of RFPs they can apply to depends on their NCA membership level.

What is the Organizational ID? +

An Organizational ID number is associated with member organizations. For those who are unsure of their membership status or in need of their number, please contact membership@nca-online.org to request your organizational ID.

Our agency is not listed in the drop-down menu to start a grant application; can you please provide assistance? +

If your organization is NOT listed in the NPO Connect (this is primarily applicable to government entities - most CACs should be listed) then Click on "Add Organization" and follow the data entry prompts which include: Organization Name; Unique Tax ID; and Address. Once your organization is added, the application will be displayed.

What are the reporting requirements for NCA awards? +

Refer to the ‘RFP Addendum #001 – Grant Reporting Requirements’ in the back of the RFP (or by clicking HERE) for information regarding reporting on NCA awards. Most NCA grant awardees are required to submit program and fiscal reports quarterly.

Can we apply to multiple grant types? +

Yes, depending on your eligibility. However, projects and budgets must be distinct and cannot overlap. Visit our Grant Eligibility Page HERE to learn more.

Are costs that we incur before the award start date allowable? +

No. Costs must fall within the approved grant period in order to be eligible for reimbursement.
